Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Center holds a run each year to raise money for cancer treatment and research. The concept is to have the children carry the torch around Long Beach Lighthouse while their sponsors, family, and friends run alongside them. Needless to say, seeing everyone, specially the kids, put their all in the event is amazing and inspirational.

The Miata Fun guys (http://miatafun.net/) organized a meet last Saturday at the Auto Club Speedway (formerly California Speedway). I was fortunate enough to have been invited by a good friend and was allowed to participate as a guest. The group was great and the event was definitely a lot of fun.
