Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Center holds a run each year to raise money for cancer treatment and research. The concept is to have the children carry the torch around Long Beach Lighthouse while their sponsors, family, and friends run alongside them. Needless to say, seeing everyone, specially the kids, put their all in the event is amazing and inspirational.

Summer Night Lights is an amazing program aimed at reducing gang violence by keeping parks open after dark and providing at risk youth and families with fun activities. Seeing first-hand the impact that this program has on the kids is quite an experience.
